One Fine Afternoon

First of all, Tootiphelia. Tootsie for short.

Second, I had a lovely Sunday yesterday. After the pretty full on week I’d had (to put this in the proper context, I was at the shops on Saturday and Father Of Munchkins rang to ask me to buy some chicken. I promptly burst into tears. Munchkin 3 had to lead me from the shops because I couldn’t see where I was going because of said tears. It was just that kind of week…) it was just what I needed and I seized the day!

After a lovely relaxing morning and throwing peanut butter sandwiches at the Munchkins for lunch (except for one. I somehow missed Munchkin 6, and after the Mother and Father of Munchkins got home she piped up ‘I haven’t had lunch yet!’ Oops.) I retreated to my room and started a project that had been mulling around in my brain for a while now.

Choosing the paints… I decided to go with pink and grey

It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to make pink. I shall claim… yep. Not sure how to explain that one away.

After sticky taping the canvas the painting began

My quiet moment got slightly interrupted by EVERY. SINGLE. MUNCHKIN. coming into my room to watch me paint. It proved as relaxing to them as it was to me, they were lulled into silence.

Then the fun part. Crayons!

Yes, I am a child at heart. Crayons make me happy 🙂

My shed wall came in handy again as a backdrop

This, and other quirky things, can be found over in my Etsy shop. I have slowly been able to add things (very slowly!) along with my Partner in Craft, so please go take a look. And then come back and tell me what you think! Any feedback at all with be hugely appreciated!
